Following a recent Board meeting, a number of policy changes are being brought into effect.
Single boat policy
Sandyport was developed as a boating community to enable each waterfront lot owner to dock their boat at their property. There have been instances of additional boats being docked or stored at individual properties, and some that are not registered to the owner nor their tenant.
The Board has therefore determined that a boat may only be docked at a given property provided that:
Our Security Department are instructed to refuse entry, or arrange removal, of any boats that fall outside of these guidelines effective August 1, 2012.
Notice of parking violation enforcement exercise
Vehicles parked on Sandyport Drive, other than in designated parking spaces, will be immobilized with a vehicle booting device effective August 1, 2012. In the event that a vehicle is booted, notify the administrative office and allow up to 2 business hours for removal of the device.
Tenant concerns
Tenants are required to channel their property related concerns to their Landlord. The Landlord should in turn report any matters that the Association may be responsible for via it’s website for processing. Reports filed by tenants will be politely referred to the Landlord responsible for the property.
Our pest control contractor will be fogging the development on July 12, 2012 with a pesticide to reduce the presence of mosquitoes that may contribute to dengue fever outbreaks. Open water will also be treated with a system to kill larvae.
Treatment will take place between the hours of 2:30am and 5:00am, the following guidelines should be observed by all residents:
